On 26 September 2023, ACCRALAW Partner Louie John D. Lood delivered a lecture on Relevant Laws on Gender Equality at an event organized by Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue entitled “Mag-Uban Ta” A Learning Forum on Gender Equality.

Last 20 September 2023, the People Management Association of the Philippines Cebu Chapter, in collaboration with the Firm’s Cebu Branch, conducted a Learning Event entitled “Enforcing Labor Standards” at the Summit Galleria Hotel, Cebu City.

As reported in the news, Nobel Laureate Maria A. Ressa and Rappler Holdings Corporation (“RHC”) were acquitted on another criminal tax charge that was filed against them in the Regional Trial Court (“RTC”) of Pasig City in a Decision that was promulgated on 12 September 2023. ACCRALAW represents Ms. Ressa and RHC.
