ACCRALAW actively participates in the Legal Aid Clinic of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Makati City Chapter (“IBP Makati”). ACCRALAW lawyers volunteer and take turns in providing free legal advice to the residents of Makati City.

ACCRALAW Associate Khen C. Aquino participated as a speaker at the event entitled “The Practice”. It was held last 19 December 2023 and organized by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Cebu Chapter in collaboration with the Militis Lex Fraternity and Honor Society.

ACCRALAW acted as legal counsel to Bank of the Philippine Islands (“BPI”), one of the country’s largest banks, in connection with its merger with Robinsons Bank Corporation (“RBank”), with BPI as the surviving bank.

On 6 December 2023, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) marked its 120th year of being the cornerstone of business innovation and development in Cebu with a Gala Night. The Gala Night was held at the Nustar Convention Center in Kawit Island, Cebu City.

As part of its Christmas celebrations as well as its corporate social responsibility initiatives, ACCRALAW hosted a Christmas outreach program last 28 December 2023 at the Masaya Home of Virlanie Foundation, Inc. in Makati City.

ACCRALAW proudly congratulates the following associates who successfully hurdled the 2023 Bar Examinations held last 17, 20, and 24 September 2023.

ACCRALAW Partner Antonio Eduardo S. Nachura, Jr. was among the examiners appointed for the Political and Public International Law core subject. He was joined by Atty. Juanito B. Arcilla, Dean Sedfrey M. Candelaria, and Prof. Ranulfo G. Mendoza, consistent with the Supreme Court’s multiple examiner policy.

On 25 November 2023, ACCRALAW Partner Eric R. Recalde participated in the technical sessions of the 78th Annual National Convention of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“PICPA”) held in Sorsogon City.
