Mr. Manibog specializes in labor litigation, dispute settlement, labor relations, collective bargaining negotiations, union formation and representation, and work stoppages. He also advises clients on employee discipline, labor standards, mergers and acquisitions, overseas employment, outsourcing arrangements, and rightsizing programs.

In 2018, Mr. Manibog was recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in the field of Labor and Employment by Asia Law Profiles. He was also recognized as a Senior Statesman by Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers & Partners in 2018.

Mr. Manibog was recognized by Asialaw Profiles as a Senior Statesman for the practice area of labor and employment in 2019.

He was a recommended lawyer for the practice area of Labor and Employment by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for 2020 and 2021.

He has represented various multinational and local companies like Coca-Cola Bottlers Phils., Inc., Citibank N.A., Standard Chartered Bank, Bechtel International, Inc., Philip Morris Phil. Mfg., Inc., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Chevron Philippines, Inc. Glaxo SmithKline, Boehringer Ingelheim Phils., Inc., Asian Transmission Corporation, San Miguel Corporation and Honda Phils., Inc.

Mr. Manibog wrote the “Handbook on Special Laws Affecting Labor and Employment Relations” for the Employers Confederation of the Philippines to serve as a guide for Philippine employers.

Mr. Manibog served as a Senior Mediation Arbiter at the Bureau of Labor Relations. He also served as Chairperson of the Labor Policy Reforms and Industrial Relations Committee of the People Management Association of the Philippines.

Mr. Manibog was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1977 and is a member of the Makati City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
