Mr. Aquino is a Partner at the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of ACCRALAW. He handles civil and criminal litigation specializing in commercial disputes; product liability and consumer issues; administrative and regulatory litigation; cases involving public officials; white collar crimes; and government and legislative advocacy. He is also active in representing clients in Congressional investigations, and has had the opportunity to assist in the crafting and deliberations of some pieces of legislation.
Mr. Aquino obtained his undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from the Ateneo de Manila University. He is a faculty member of the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law teaching Remedial Law Review, Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, and Appellate Practice. He is also a Bar Review Lecturer in Remedial Law for the Ateneo de Manila School of Law and other bar review centers. His published works include, Analysis on the Amendments to the Rules on Evidence (2021); Comparative Analysis of the Changes in the 2019 Rules on Civil Procedure (2020); Discovering Litigation Practice: A Reintroduction to the Modes of Discovery (61 Ateneo L.J. 454 (2016)) (co-author); as well as regular contributions to Amicus Curiae, a legal column of BusinessWorld.
