Ms. Tayag specializes in general corporate work, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, special registrations with government agencies, public bidding and government contracts.
She has handled a number of significant transactions where she:
- advised clients on doing business issues and recommended the most appropriate corporate structure.
- assisted in establishing subsidiaries, branch offices and representative offices in the Philippines.
- assisted clients in setting up their contact centers and business process outsourcing facilities in the Philippines.
- advised clients in their registration with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and Board of Investments to avail of fiscal incentives.
- acted as legal counsel for both sellers and buyers in various local and cross border M&A deals in different industries.
- acted as legal counsel to successful bidders in government projects initiated by various government agencies, such as the Commission on Elections, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Department of National Defense, Department of Science and Technology and Philippine Space Agency.
Ms. Tayag currently acts as director and/or corporate secretary for a number of companies in the Philippines.
Ms. Tayag was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2014 and is a member of the Tarlac Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
