Eusebio V. Tan has been conferred with “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon” by the Government of Japan. According to a statement from the Embassy of Japan, this recognition is awarded to “those who have made distinguished achievement in international relations, promotion of Japanese culture, advancements in their field, development in welfare or preservation of the environment.” Mr. Tan’s “valuable contribution to strengthening the economic relations between Japan and the Philippines” was recognized.
