ACCRALAW Of Counsel Teresita J. Herbosa was among the examiners appointed for the Commercial Law core subject, along with Atty. Jose Perpetuo M. Lotilla and Prof. Maria Zarah R. Villanueva, following the Supreme Court’s three-examiner policy.

ACCRALAW acted as legal counsel to the Issue Manager and Bookrunner, and Joint Lead Underwriters for the initial public offering (IPO) of Upson International Corp. (UPSON). UPSON raised PHP1.65 Billion from the sale of its primary shares and listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange last 3 April 2023.

With businesses heavily reliant on data, particularly, personal information of customers and employees alike, it is important to be guided on the applicable rules on data privacy and protection. Also, data storage, sharing, and transfer are no longer domestic affairs. Thus, a webinar on cross-border data transfers was timely.

On 22 March 2023, the People Management Association of the Philippines, in partnership with ACCRALAW Cebu Branch, conducted a seminar entitled “e-Marites: The Legal Approach to Cyber Harassment” at the Golden Prince Hotel, Cebu City.
