Last May 31, 2019, the 5th General Membership Meeting of the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (“DCCCI”) was held.

Our Firm’s John Paul M. Gaba, Partner of the Intellectual Property Department, recently delivered lectures during the 49th Pre-Judicature Program of the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) last 31 May 2019 held in Cebu City.

Last May 30, 2019, different law firms and law practitioners assembled at Island Shangri-la in Hong Kong for the second annual Asialaw Regional Awards. For ACCRALAW, the Firm’s Managing Partner Emerico O. De Guzman and Senior Partner Rowena Garcia-Flores attended.

Last May 30, 2019, In-House Community announced its annual Counsels of the Year Awards. The awards are based on in-house counsel submissions and the decision of an independent panel of judges.

It is with profound grief and sadness that the ACCRALAW Family announces the passing of TEODORO D. REGALA, one of the founding partners of Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law Offices (“ACCRALAW”), on 1 June 2019.

Managing IP has been researching and ranking IP firms since 1996.

The Firm’s Partners had their traditional testimonial dinner last May 6, 2019 at the Grand Salon, Grand Hyatt Manila, in Bonifacio Global City.  They celebrated the admission to the Partnership of Everlene O. Lee (“Ever” and Louie John D. Lood (“John”).  They also honored Regina P. Geraldez (“Gina”) and Ramon G. Samson (“Mon”) who retired from the Partnership last year.

The ASEAN Law Association (ALA) launched the ASEAN Law Institute in Manila on April 13, 2019 (“Institute”). Avelino V. Cruz, one of the Firm’s Founding Partners, was appointed as the Institute’s Chairman.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines 17th National Convention of Lawyers was held in the Iloilo Convention Center in Iloilo City from March 27-31, 2019. This annual convention also offered lectures on different topics that are also given Mandatory Continuing Legal Education credits.
